Join us for a docent led tour of the Gardens and Railroad Museum at Wandering Tree Estate, led by the creator's son, H.L. Silets.
Scenic railways were created by renowned artist and designer Elaine Silets. The expansive model train layouts and various botanical gardens make Wandering Tree Estate a unique wonderland that feels like walking through a dream. You quietly weave a path through the 10 acre garden and grounds, experiencing the Japanese gardens, as well as the Garden Railway.
We will all be taking a shuttle together, as there is no parking at the event site. The shuttle leaves at 10:15 AM from the Holiday Inn Express and Suites parking lot, located at 197 S Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.

12 PM - Shuttle departs Wandering Tree Estate, followed by an optional lunch at Joanie's Pizzeria of Long Grove (cost of lunch not included in event fee).
*Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster, if eligible, is required to attend this event. Please have your vaccination card with you or on your smartphone. You will be required to show it in order to enter. You will also be required to sign a Hadassah waiver form at the time of entry. Also, you may be required to wear a mask to attend this event. For everyone’s health and safety, there will be no exceptions to this policy.
