Hadassah Chicago-North Shore and Hadassah Great Plains invite you to a Day in the District with Legislative Assistants, Grace Cason and Stacey Berdejo, for U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth. Join us as we present Hadassah’s advocacy priorities and hear about Senator Duckworth’s priorities.

Grace Cason serves as a Legislative Assistant in the office of U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth of Illinois. She supports the National Security team on issues of defense and leads on foreign policy and veterans’ affairs. She has worked in the Senator’s office since January 2017. Before coming to the Senate, starting in September 2015, Grace worked in then-Congresswoman Duckworth’s office in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing the Eighth Congressional District of Illinois, including her hometown of Schaumburg, Illinois.

Stacey Berdejo serves as Senior Caseworker and Outreach Coordinator in the office of U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth of Illinois. She supports the Immigration and Judiciary teams. Stacey has worked in the Senator’s office since July 2018, and interned in the D.C. office in 2017. Before coming to the Office of Senator Duckworth, she worked for U.S. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky. Prior to the Hill, Stacey served as a legal extern with the Cook County Public Defender’s Office.
