Eleanor Roosevelt, Greater Pittsburgh, Kalamazoo & Tikvah Hadassah are pleased to welcome Liz Fox, past National Vice President of Hadassah, as our guest speaker for this wonderful online event. Liz is the author of a very personal book, We Are Going To Be Lucky: A World War II Love Story in Letters. The book is based on excerpts from 2,000 letters that were written between her parents during World War II. A historian by training, her father managed to save and send home her mother's letters from her experiences during that time. The result is a conversation addressing a wide variety of political, social, and economic topics, as well as a deep love story. Join as Liz and her husband perform a 20-minute dramatic reading of her parent’s letters.

You can find Liz's book, We are Going to be Lucky: A World War II Love Story in Letters, on amazon.
