Author Karen Gooen will speak about her book "Searching for Bubbe Fischer: The Pathway to Mah Jongg Wisdom"
Karen Gooen, a proud life member of Hadassah, will describe how she fell in love with the game and sought the ultimate mentor, “Bubbe Fischer”: a mahj maven who could help her bring her game to a higher level. In her quest, Karen gained a lot of wisdom. The second half of the book provides insights for other players, encouraging them to “be their own Bubbe” as well.
