Presented by Hadassah Midwest and the Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest.

Over the past decade, Israel has become known as a powerhouse of innovations, helping to improve everyday lives around the world. Today, Israel’s innovators are focusing their efforts where they are needed the most – attempting to tackle the number one problem confronting humanity – COVID-19 – and sharing their discoveries with the world.

Jodie Cohen will discuss her recent book, Tikkun Olam: Israel vs COVID-19, which highlights the incredible work by Israeli scientists, doctors, start-ups, and NGOs that began during the first lockdown in Israel and continues today.

Dianne Gottlieb, Hadassah Medical Organization Chair, will share several cutting edge COVID-19 innovations, which were developed and researched at Hadassah Hospitals in Jerusalem.
